In December, President Trump broke the precedent of previous presidents and recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and instructed the State Department to begin moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem. This resulted in outrage from the rest of the world, and the UN voted 128 to 9 to condemn the U.S. for recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

This recent vote by the UN is another confirmation of the Biblical prophecy that at the end of this age, the nations of the world will be united in opposition to Israel. “It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it” (Zechariah 12:3).
