#70 “The Money Changers”

Synopsis #70 – March 3, 2013 “The Money Changers”

If you are not thoroughly familiar with the Biblical principle that judgment begins with God’s people then you need to listen to “The Money Changers.” Jesus’ cleansing of the temple speaks volumes today about the need for Evangelicalism to get its own house in order. If you think that the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is all about the judgment upon those Humanists, think again. God’s first priority is to purge and purify the Church. The program explains why there were merchants in the temple, and why it is wrong in our day for Christians to turn ministry into a for-profit business. Finding money changers in the work of God is a sign that core motives for serving God are wrong. Ministry is about self and not about the glory of Jesus Christ.
