The financial crisis in Greece reminds us of the uncertainty of earthly wealth, and it foreshadows a coming world-wide financial collapse. I cover Greece’s entrance in the EMU (European Monetary Union) and the political goals behind the EMU. I then go on to explain the nature of money and debt, which when understood, puts new light on Jesus’ words, “Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven . . .” (Matthew 19:20).
