#295 Trump & the Media Narrative

Program #272 “The Media and Donald Trump” –6/25/2017 – Synopsis

You might have noticed that over the last few months, I have not been covering the media’s constant muckraking of the Trump administration. I begin this program explaining how conservatives can be an unwitting tool of the liberal agenda by following the news narrative created by the media. Even our defense can sometimes perpetuate the lie. At times we should heed the proverb, “Do not answer a fool according to his folly, lest you be like him” (Proverbs 26:4).

Furthermore, it is too coincidental that all of the media follows the same headlines. What ever happened to the health care crisis, the war in Syria, the national deficit? How can it be that every single news outlet had chosen to ignore so many important stories and has instead promoted this unsubstantiated accusation that Donald Trump colluding with the Russians? You don’t even have to be a Republican to question the legitimacy of this witch hunt.

God said to the prophet Isaiah, “You are not to say, ‘It is a conspiracy’ in regard to all that this people call a conspiracy.” I conclude this program covering the biases and prejudices that caused the people in ancient Israel to assume Isaiah must be in collusion with the Assyrians. The people’s opinion of Isaiah was twisted because they held to a certain false moral and political agenda. Donald Trump is no Isaiah, but because he holds to a few Christian values – pro-life, anti-globalism, smaller government, gender specific bathrooms, etc. – he is the target of the far left.
