A straightforward, literal interpretation of Scripture foretells a third temple in Jerusalem.  The main dispute is not the possibility of a rebuilt temple, but whether it is being built in obedience or disobedience to God.  Even most dispensational pre-millennialist believe God foretells a rebuilt temple but does not command it of the Jews.
