Program #322 “Judgment Day – It is still coming” – 12-31-2017 – Synopsis

The prophecy message to start off the new year is a simple review of many Biblical texts that remind the believer that even though judgment may seem to be long in coming, it will come. In the very year the people imagine they have cheated economic collapse, war and death, judgment will come. “When they say peace and safety, sudden destruction will come upon them suddenly” (1 Thessalonians 5:3).

I also look at this whole issue through the question “Why are people often wrong in predicting the future both politically and eschatologically?” The reason: People make their predictions more on what they want to see happen rather than what the evidence shows will happen. One’s moral worldview determines one’s prognostications.
