#225 Spoiled University Students

Program #225 – Spoiled University Students – 2/21/2016 – Synopsis

Last year we saw an explosion of protests on university campuses. At Yale, Halloween costumes were racist; at Princeton, the name of Woodrow Wilson was unacceptable; at Clemson, Mexican food day was culturally insensitive; at the University of Missouri, “bigotry and anti-gay sentiment lives here.” Left-leaning student activists and faculty are complaining that certain types of speech (mostly conservative in content) cause anxiety and emotional trauma in students.

After giving some examples, I discuss various elements of this movement: the racial element, the Islamic element, the LGBT element, and the student emotional weakness element. The bottom line is that secular humanism is coming to full bloom, and there is an ensuing suppression of any truth that contradicts the left’s alternative reality.

This is what Paul wrote about in Romans 1:18, “men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.” It is alarming to see this in practices, but these things must come to pass, for the world must witness how secular humanism leads to ignorance, superstition, gross immorality, abuse, oppression, irrationality, foolishness, etc. They have sowed the wind, and they must reap the whirlwind.
