“Building God’s Country” is not about any one issue in the news, but the message seeks to develop in the Christian a healthy balance between his concern for the Kingdom of Man and the Kingdom of God. Jesus turned down the offer to immediately become King of Israel because He came to first save citizens for His Kingdom. Our primary mission is to secure new citizens for Christ’s Heavenly Kingdom. We uphold the Kingdom of Man only as a tool to provide a quiet and peaceable life in order that the door of evangelism and discipleship could be held open a little while longer (1 Timothy 2:2). Once the Gospel of the Kingdom is preached in the whole world for a witness to all nations, then the end will come (Matthew 24:14). A synopsis does not do the program justice. Let the Lord renew your mind as you listen to the Scripture and the exposition.
