#117 The Message of Judgment
Abridged Radio Program
Synopsis: Program #117 – 1/26/2014 “The Message of Judgment”
Program #117 is meant to tweak our Christian outreach toward a more Biblical message. We often present to the world God’s moral imperatives but then leave off the message of judgment. This would be an insignificant oversight if it weren’t for the fact that the apostles, the prophets and Jesus Himself always included the message of judgment. Therefore, the message of judgment is (1) the Biblical argument, (2) the most unbeatable argument, (3) the most compassionate argument, (4) the quickest and easiest argument to make and, hence, (5) the most effective argument.
The discussion then moves into explaining why the message of judgment is ignored due to the philosophical and theological spirit of the age. Twenty-first century man refuses to attribute troubles to the hand of God. Two questions are then answered: (1) Can we claim that hurricanes and tornadoes are the judgments of God for national sins? and (2) How can we explain the delay of judgment upon our nation?
I hope you will find in this program some truths that will help improve your witness to unbelievers.
